Somatic Therapy and Clinical Supervision in Oregon.
Hello dear journeyer. Wherever you may be on your journey, it is likely the road feels rough beneath your feet and you are here seeking a shelter from the storm.
I believe we can weather any storm if we have the right equipment. In our work together I may be an outfitter, helping you try on different gear to see what fits, what needs broken in, and what doesn’t work for you; an inn keeper, holding a safe space for you to rest without fear of the elements or dangers of the outside world; a trail guide, illuminating where the path is more or less safe; and a fellow traveler, walking my own path even while our intersect for a time.
If metaphors are not your thing - no worries there!
Maybe you are suffering the burnout of being overextending, keeping up with daily life while the world burns.
Maybe you want to explore or express your sexual or gender identity…but it doesn’t feel safe.
Maybe you see yourself repeating family patterns that you don’t like or agree with, and are ready to make the change.
Maybe you feel like your emotions come out of nowhere and just take over! And you’d like help to understand what’s going on in your body and mind, and how to state shift.
Maybe you just know you want a better relationship with yourself and/or others.
Maybe it is one or all of the above, either individually or in a relationship - I am here to help.
Our work is slow and steady in order to help understand, re-wire, and create the lasting change you have been hoping for. Working with the reactions your body holds and helping to shape safety and understanding in connecting with these sensations, we will then incorporate transformed thoughts and beliefs so you can take these forward into your every day life.
Lasting change comes from slowing down.
I know that slow is not always easy. And I am here to help hold everything that emerges along the way.
