About Oregon Counselors Directory
I’ve spent most of my life writing code, starting when I was 14. But in 2017, I realized I wanted to be in the room with people during their hardest moments, not just behind a screen.
Today, I balance my private practice with shifts at the County Jail—work that keeps me grounded in the real struggles of our community. As a developer, I’m using what I’ve learned in tech to build the Oregon Counselors Directory, helping local therapists navigate the digital hurdles that get in the way of care.
My father serves as a constant inspiration. He escaped Communist East Germany and founded a telecom company in the 80s. He always pushed me to be entrepreneurial and innovative. After he passed away last year, using my "developer DNA" to help others became my way of keeping his legacy alive. I hope I can make him proud.

A note on who "we" are: When you see "we" or "our" mentioned on this platform, it refers to more than just a line of code. It includes me, a handful of trusted colleagues, and the hundreds of Oregon providers who help build this directory every day. Many of the site's most important updates come directly from talking on the phone, over Zoom, or trading texts and emails with clinicians who tell us exactly what they need to better serve their clients.
A note on transparency: I build and maintain this directory through CUTI Consulting, my private consulting firm, where I help therapists and small businesses grow. To be clear, the Oregon Counselors Directory is an independent public resource—not a vehicle to market or push my consulting services. Nothing here is designed to funnel anyone toward CUTI Consulting; it exists to connect Oregonians with care and to give local providers a free, fair place to be found.

We list licensed mental health professionals across Oregon—therapists, licensed counselors, psychologists, psychiatric prescribers, and group practices—in a single searchable directory, free to use for anyone looking for care.

- 16,761 licensed Oregon providers listed — drawn from public Oregon licensing-board records so you can find a clinician even before they’ve claimed their page.

- 362 Oregon cities, 444 specialties, and 176 insurance plans represented—including OHP / Oregon Health Plan, Medicaid, Medicare, and major commercial plans.
