About Karen
My practice provides bilingual/bicultural mental health counseling with a focus in working with Latinx adults and teens with a history of trauma. I am passionate about providing culturally responsive mental health services in English & Spanish. I specialize in helping individuals recover from sexual trauma and abusive relationships.
I provide individual counseling, primarily via tele-health. My approach is trauma informed and client centered. I am a firm believer that people are the experts of their own lives. I work in collaboration with my clients to explore and unpack traumatic events, identify areas of growth, and identify strengths.
I strive to create an inclusive space for you that feels safe to be yourself. Together we can work towards healing and recovery.
