Kavitha Goldowitz

I am a licensed psychotherapist as well as a certified Life Coach. I have over 15 years of experience working with individuals and couples. My areas of expertise include supporting ethnic and multicultural populations, challenges related to cultural assimilation, and complex family relationship dynamics. I speak five languages and bring deep cultural awareness to my work, with particular insight into the experiences of Indian American and broader Asian American communities navigating personal and cultural identity.

I offer therapy via telehealth and serve clients in Oregon and California.

I also work extensively with women experiencing anxiety, depression, and stress related to life transitions such as relationships, marriage, divorce, and the transition to parenthood. Clients often value the insight, compassion, and genuine respect I bring to their struggles, as well as my gentle and approachable style.

My work is grounded in a strength-based perspective, drawing from a range of evidence-based psychotherapy approaches, as well as my long standing personal meditation and mindfulness practice. I believe every person is capable of meaningful change and growth, and I am passionate about helping clients move toward their goals while feeling validated, supported, and compassionately challenged.
