Hello and hi! My name is Sarah Zamiska Dover (she/her) and I’m an LMFT who believes therapy works best when it feels real and collaborative. I focus on building a solid, trusting relationship so you actually feel safe enough to be honest, and not just with me but more so with yourself. I’ve worked with folks dealing with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, relationship stress — all the heavy stuff — especially in those “sh*t is hitting the fan” moments. I take a holistic approach, meaning we look at the whole picture — you, your relationships, stress, history, strengths and barriers, culture, everything — not just the symptoms. Therapy with me is about using your strengths, making sense of what’s happening, and helping you grow through it, not just survive it.  

 A few more professional details about me: I use a strength-based, non-judgmental approach that blends attachment work, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-focused somatic practices like EMDR. Basically, I pull from different tools depending on what you need, and I sit with you while we untangle what’s going on. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco in 2016, and I’ve worked in both clinic settings and out in the community, supporting people in real-life, everyday spaces.
