Therapy works best when you feel like you’re talking to an actual human being. That’s the space I hope we can create together: safe enough to deal with the most difficult parts of your journey. You should never have to "put on a brave face" here. My job isn't to be a detached expert, but a trusted partner with you as we face the hard things in your life journey together.
Having spent much of my own life living in and navigating dynamically different cultures, I know how intimidating it can be to open up, especially for those of us whose backgrounds make it difficult to talk about emotions or to be vulnerable. That personal experience informs how I believe we can face the tough stuff together—grief, trauma, disability, chronic illness, reproductive challenges, and everything that come with life.
My approach is evidence-based, utilizing ACT, relational-cultural trauma therapy, and somatic therapy. We will work together to integrate all aspects of you because healing isn’t just about talking with your mind, but about reconnecting with your body and its wisdom. My goal is to help you not only identify and feel your feelings, but to give you real, usable skills you can carry with you long after our sessions.
