About

As a fully-licensed, trauma-certified therapist in OR & WA, & a WA state Supervisor, I work with a wide range of issues, & specialize in grief, trauma, & illness. Whether recent circumstances are challenging, or aspects of the past need to be reconciled & faced, my clients work to process, cope, & reconnect with themselves & others. We can feel stuck, stretched, or hollowed by grief, trauma, or years of stress. Sometimes we need to heal from-or at least learn to carry-pain, from a death close to us, a future we envisioned, a critical diagnosis, or our changing world. Context matters, in therapy and supervision. 

I use an integrated, systemic, & somatic approach to address the whole picture & I bring 25 years of work with grief, trauma, & critical illness such as cancer & MS. I've worked as a therapist in community mental health, in nonprofits, & as a professor. Together we explore ways to reconnect with yourself, your goals, people close to you, & your strength.

These beautiful, unpredictable, messy moments of life shape us, & I've learned that defining who we are through these moments helps us build the life we want.
