I am a Professional Counselor Associate providing telehealth counseling to adults throughout Oregon. My clinical work focuses on helping individuals experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, stress, and major life transitions.
My approach to counseling is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I believe therapy should provide a supportive and judgment-free environment where clients can better understand what they are experiencing while also developing skills they can use in everyday life. Treatment may integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based approaches based on each client’s individual needs and goals.
My background includes behavioral health experience working with neurodivergent individuals and families, including experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, followed by earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This background has contributed to a particular interest in working with ADHD, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, and the ways these experiences can overlap with anxiety and trauma.
In therapy, we may work on identifying patterns and triggers, reducing rumination and avoidance, strengthening emotional regulation and communication, creating healthier routines, improving relationships, and developing realistic goals for meaningful change. I strive to make therapy approachable and conversational while maintaining a clear focus on the concerns that brought you to counseling.
You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Whether you are working through difficult past experiences, feeling overwhelmed by current circumstances, trying to better understand yourself, or simply wanting to feel more in control of your life, we can work together toward greater stability, confidence, and well-being.
