About This Practice

Mental health concerns can build quietly over time. Difficulty concentrating, persistent anxiety, low mood, or feeling overwhelmed can begin to interfere with work, relationships, and daily responsibilities. Additionally, finding the right care can be challenging. Some people are unsure whether they need therapy, medication, or both. Others delay reaching out because they are not sure where to start.

Skycloud Health offers outpatient mental health care that is straightforward and flexible. We offer in-person and virtual mental health treatment. We have four MAT and mental health treatment centers in OR, WA, and UT. We provide virtual psychiatry services in MN, AZ, NM, and NV. We offer virtual psychotherapy in OR, WA, and UT.

Through virtual and in-person appointments, we help patients access consistent care without disruption to daily life. Our providers work collaboratively with you to understand your needs and develop evidence-based care plans that adjust as your goals and circumstances change. Skycloud Health also offers services in both English and Spanish. Patients may request care in their preferred language to support clear communication and understanding throughout treatment.

We specialize in providing affirming care for LGBTQIA+ and transgender individuals. We are committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment where patients feel understood and safe throughout their care.

Available without a referral. Schedule online today or call now to learn more about outpatient treatment for mental health and recovery.

Medication Management

When determining which medication to prescribe, your healthcare provider will carefully evaluate a range of factors that are unique to you. This includes a thorough assessment of your specific symptoms, as well as your medical history, any physical health conditions you may have, your psychiatric background, family medical history, and your social circumstances.

Based on this comprehensive evaluation, your provider will select the most suitable medication tailored to your needs. Psychiatric medications are typically grouped into several categories:

  • Antidepressants, which are designed to alleviate symptoms of depression by balancing chemicals in the brain that affect mood and emotions.
  • Anti-anxiety medications, aimed at reducing feelings of anxiety and panic, providing calmness and helping with overall emotional stability.
  • Antipsychotics, used primarily to manage symptoms of psychosis, including delusions and hallucinations, often found in conditions like schizophrenia or severe bipolar disorder.
  • Mood stabilizers, which help regulate fluctuations in mood, particularly in individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder, ensuring a more consistent emotional state.
  • Stimulant and non-stimulant medications, primarily for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD / ADD), enhancing focus and reducing impulsivity.
  • Benzodiazepines, which are prescription sedative-hypnotic medications that treat anxiety, insomnia, seizures, and muscle spasms. We rarely prescribe benzodiazepines, and this would be determined on a case by case basis with your provider.
