About this product
panic.btn is a one-tap rescue tool for acute panic and anxiety — built for the moment when you can't think clearly enough to navigate a complicated app. Press the button and it launches a guided grounding sequence: the physiological sigh, paced breathing (4-7-8, box breathing, vagus-nerve resets), and sensory orientation, with haptic cues so it works even when you can't use sound.
Every exercise is rooted in CBT and basic physiology — the same techniques used in session to bring heart rate and arousal down. Nothing leaves the device: no account, no sign-up, no subscription.
Built by Eric Richers, LPC, for clients to use between sessions — hand it to someone mid-session or recommend it as homework. Free on iPhone.
