About this product
panic.btn is a one-tap rescue tool for acute panic and anxiety, built for the moment when you can't think clearly enough to navigate a complicated app. Press the button and it launches a guided grounding sequence: the physiological sigh, paced breathing (4-7-8, box breathing, vagus-nerve resets), and sensory orientation, with haptic cues so it works even when you can't use sound.
Every exercise is rooted in CBT and basic physiology, the same techniques used in session to bring heart rate and arousal down. Nothing leaves the device: no account, no sign-up, no subscription.
Built by Eric Richers, LPC, for clients to use between sessions, hand it to someone mid-session or recommend it as homework. Free on iPhone.
