About Sara
Do you ever feel misunderstood or like you don’t fit in? Is this causing you to feel anxious or disconnected from life? As a queer mental health professional, I have experience working with autistic adults, ADHD, trauma, dissociative disorders, personality disorders, OCD, depression and anxiety. I believe in identifying and building upon your strengths. Utilizing techniques from DBT, CBT, somatic strategies, and mindfulness, I strive to help you process emotions and develop coping skills for when you feel overwhelmed or experience sensory overload. I am EMDR trained and am here to support you through processing childhood and other trauma. Working through trauma can be scary and overwhelming. My goal is to partner with you as you challenge patterns in life and relationships that contribute to anxiety and depression. I am an LGBTQ+, ENM, and kink-affirming therapist.
