Hello! My name is Priscilla. I live and practice on the unceded land of the Multnomah, Clackamas, Kathlamet, and Chinook peoples (also referred to as Portland, Oregon). My social work journey began in 2013 and I have had the opportunity to work in child welfare, community mental health, and agency settings. I specialize in working with adopted persons/adoptees as well as with neurodivergent individuals and those struggling with unresolved trauma and low self-esteem.
Signing up for therapy and talking with a stranger on the Internet can feel risky and uncomfortable. My hope is that in our time together you will feel empowered and safe. My clinical perspective is that you are the expert. I will be alongside you to assist with meaning-making, skills building, and attunement. I have found that an attuned therapeutic relationship can be just as powerful as an evidence-based intervention. That being said, I do love learning! I currently offer EMDR and draw from IFS, CBT, DBT, ACT and somatic practices.
