About Miranda
Welcome! My therapy approach is tailored to each individual to meet their specific needs and goals. I often utilize talk-therapy, combined with a cognitive behavioral approach, to create a safe and supportive environment for you to be able to explore your thoughts and feelings to the fullest extent. I also utilize EMDR therapy to assist those seeking a deeper delve into themselves to reprocess any past trauma to assist in a more complete healing journey. EMDR can also be helpful to assist with depression, anxiety, and ADHD (among others).
I currently offer online sessions (via video or phone) to children, teens, and adults. We can focus on a range of areas, with a primary focus on overcoming trauma, anxiety, and managing OCD symptomology.
I strongly believe in a person-centered human approach, if there is not trust and rapport; success can be limited. I strive to create an environment where you can feel completely safe and empowered and that you are never exploring your therapy journey alone. I hope we can meet soon!
