I help clients process overwhelming experiences using EMDR, an evidence-based therapy that supports the brain’s natural healing process. Many people seek therapy because they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck, even when they appear to be functioning well in daily life. Past experiences, stress, or life transitions may still be affecting how they think, feel, or react. They want relief from anxiety, emotional reactivity, and a constant sense of being “on edge,” and they hope to feel calmer, more grounded, and more like themselves again. Ultimately, they are looking for meaningful healing so the past no longer defines their present.
