About Chanel
Welcome! I am currently accepting clients and have experience working with adults across the lifespan experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, life and work stressors, minority stress, and many other experiences and symptoms that can affect daily living and quality of life. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals process their emotions and experiences and build skills to change how they experience and live their lives. I also have experience working with LGBTQIA+ and providing gender affirming care and support to help cope with stress and navigate the medical/health care system when considering or seeking gender affirming treatment. We do not always have control of the world around us, and with support and skills, we can choose how we respond. Please contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to discuss how therapy can help you on your path.

When you’re feeling stuck like the only thing you can do is put your kid in therapy, let me be a different starting point. After working for years with kids, I learned the best way to help a kid is to help their parents regulate their nervous system and learn effective parenting skills through a supportive environment. In session, I use an attachment based lens with foundations in Theraplay and EMDR to help parents build a stronger foundation at home and finally feel like they are thriving, not just surviving.
