About Amy

You may understand yourself well and still find yourself repeating the same patterns—in relationships, coping, perfectionism, or substance use. I work collaboratively with thoughtful, motivated adults and couples who are curious about themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives.

I offer a warm, relational approach to therapy, grounded in curiosity and connection. My style integrates psychodynamic therapy with somatic practices. I believe we all deserve compassion and the opportunity to grow, heal, and change. It is my intention to listen deeply and attune to your unique needs, while creating a space where we can explore your experiences together. We can look at the patterns that shape your life and relationships, consider what gives your life meaning, and explore what might support you in moving toward what matters most to you.

Authenticity is a core principle of mine, and I invite you to bring your authentic self into our work together. I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the work. Together, we can notice what happens in relationships, explore attachment and relational patterns, and develop greater awareness of how you experience yourself and others. We can also explore the mind-body connection and ways of relating to difficult emotions with greater awareness and compassion. My hope is that our work together can create more space for ease, joy, acceptance, and connection.

My work is influenced by Existential-Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mind/body integration practices. At the center of these approaches is self-awareness: developing a deeper understanding of yourself, your values, your relationships, and the patterns that shape your life. I see you as the expert on your own experience, and I see our work as a collaborative and empowered process of curiosity and discovery.
