About this product
A 1-hour, on-demand CE course for licensed mental health professionals who meet suicidality in the context of ketamine-assisted treatment. It covers risk and protective factors in that setting, structured clinical interviewing about suicidal ideation and behavior, and documentation that supports ethical decisions and continuity of care.
The course is about careful, defensible assessment, not prediction. Clients who seek ketamine as a rapid-acting treatment raise the stakes of a risk assessment, and standard frameworks do not always address the treatment setting. Intermediate level. Taught by Peter H. Addy, PhD, LPC, LMHC, and Lindsay Wilkinson, ND, LAc.
Self-paced video home study. Psychedelic Affirming Education is an NBCC-approved continuing education provider (ACEP No. 7579). The course offers 1 CE hour on completion.
