About this product
A 1-hour, on-demand CE course for licensed mental health professionals who conduct or contribute to psychological assessment for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). It covers readiness, motivation and mental health history; contraindications that call for exclusion, further evaluation or added support; and how a client's expectations and decision-making capacity bear on informed consent.
Standard intake does not translate cleanly to KAP. The course treats assessment as clinical judgment, not a checklist or a gate to move clients through, and it covers how to carry findings into an interdisciplinary team. Intermediate level. Taught by Peter H. Addy, PhD, LPC, LMHC, and Lindsay Wilkinson, ND, LAc. It pairs with Part 1 – Medical Assessment.
Self-paced video home study. Psychedelic Affirming Education is an NBCC-approved continuing education provider (ACEP No. 7579). The course offers 1 CE hour on completion.
