About this product
Foundations of Ketamine Addiction is a 2.5-hour, on-demand CE course for licensed mental health professionals whose clients use ketamine. It covers how ketamine produces its psychoactive and addictive effects, which risk factors matter clinically, and how to tell therapeutic use from emerging misuse without pathologizing the client.
The course is built around assessment decisions rather than pharmacology for its own sake: what to ask when ketamine comes up in session, which red flags call for closer evaluation, and when to refer. It is written for clinicians who support ketamine-using clients, not for clinicians training to become ketamine providers. Introductory level. Taught by Peter H. Addy, PhD, LPC, LMHC, and Lindsay Wilkinson, ND, LAc.
Self-paced video home study. Psychedelic Affirming Education is an NBCC-approved continuing education provider (ACEP No. 7579). The course offers 2.5 CE hours on completion; partial credit is not available.
