Anxiety and depression treatment
Anxiety and depression are the two most common reasons people call BCB Therapy, and the two conditions travel together more often than not. One revs the engine, the other drains the tank. Either way, the days get smaller.
Treatment that starts working early
The practice uses approaches with strong evidence behind them: cognitive behavioral therapy for the thought loops, EMDR where anxiety grows out of things that happened to you, and biofeedback for the physical side, the racing heart and the 3 a.m. ceiling-staring. The goal for a first session is concrete: you leave with an understanding of what is happening and at least one tool to use that week.
What anxiety treatment addresses
Generalized worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, health anxiety, and the stress spirals that come with overloaded lives. Where insomnia has moved in alongside the anxiety, treatment addresses both together rather than hoping sleep fixes itself.
What depression treatment addresses
Low mood, flat motivation, irritability, the loss of interest in things that used to matter, and the harsh inner commentary that often runs underneath. Sessions build behavioral traction first (small wins, real ones), then work on the deeper patterns.
