Sharon Hale

Hi, I'm Sharon! I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist in both Washington and Oregon. My physical location is based in Oregon. I'm co-owner of a group practice, and I genuinely love helping people feel more like themselves again. My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for trauma, which means I pay close attention to patterns of connection, disconnection, and the ways we learned to adapt in order to belong. I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in repeating cycles, whether that’s conflict in relationships, disconnection from their own emotions, or a sense that they’ve lost their voice somewhere along the way. My style is warm, relational, and collaborative, with a balance of deep attunement and gentle directness when it’s helpful.

Before becoming a therapist, I was a very shy kid who learned to read the room before I could read myself, and that experience still shapes how I show up in the therapy room today. I have a lot of respect for the strategies people develop to get through life, even when those same strategies start getting in the way. Outside of work, I’m raising four boys with my husband (who is also a therapist), keeping up with a dog, a cat, and a small flock of chickens, and embracing the beautifully imperfect chaos of real life. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical to be meaningful... it can be honest, human, and even a little bit funny along the way.
