Welcome
Welcome 5 star provider
I see therapy as a process of accompaniment and as a practice of “turning toward” our experience with compassion and curiosity. My approach is grounded in a psychodynamic and person-centered model and is tailored to meet the needs of each client. My work is also informed by my own experience with meditation and Buddhist practice, and when appropriate, I incorporate mindfulness and other body-awareness practices. I strive to create a compassionate space where healing and growth can unfold and where clients can encounter their own wisdom and resilience.
Before opening my private practice as a psychotherapist, I worked as an interfaith hospital chaplain, supporting patients and families facing serious illness, loss, and major life changes. That work taught me how to stay grounded and present in the midst of uncertainty, and to meet each person with genuine respect for their unique beliefs, identities, and ways of making meaning. When spiritual concerns enter the therapy room, my approach is non-prescriptive, non-judgemental, and inclusive.
