Hello! My name is Nana. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and have lived in Oregon for the past 20 years. I am a mother of three, curious, creative, and adventurous little people. I enjoy singing, crafts and enjoying the outdoors. Embarking on a therapeutic journey takes so much bravery and courage. I seek to create a safe space for those of all backgrounds to process, self-discover, and grow. Relationships can be instrumental in the change process, so my main goal is to build trust and relationship with my clients through active listening, unconditional positive regard, consistency, and respect. I listen to understand and work collaboratively with clients to empower them to work towards the challenges they are encountering. My therapeutic approach centers around gaining deeper understanding of my clients backgrounds, traumas, and unhelpful narratives to move towards greater health and transformation. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-base, and client-centered lens when working with clients, with my most used modalities being Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Theories, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Somatic Techniques, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Play-Therapy. I enjoy working with Adolescents and Teens, Adults, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ Folks
