Katie Statman-Weil, EdD, LCSW, is the founder of With Connection and a parent and family therapist in Portland, Oregon. She specializes in helping parents and families navigate challenging behavior, trauma, attachment, foster care and adoption, and complex family relationships. With a background in child development and education, Katie helps parents understand what is happening beneath their child’s behavior so they can respond with greater confidence and connection. She is also an author, keynote speaker, and nationally recognized trainer on trauma-responsive practices for children, families, and educators.
