I am trained in EMDR and am currently in the EMDR certification process. Whatever issues or concerns bring you to counseling, I appreciate and respect that you are the EXPERT on your life. Your feelings are valid. Together we will figure out what counseling style is most comfortable for you (e.g., psychodynamic, art therapeutic) and work from that perspective. Whatever your goal (e.g., finding calm in the storm, mindfully retracing life's twists and turns, rejoining life), you don't have to be alone in your journey. I enjoy supporting individuals traveling the path of self-discovery. I know that opening up can be scary. Seeing and hearing your truth can also be life affirming, lifesaving. Do the work.
