About Erika
I have immediate availability and am ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS! Reach out via email or phone to schedule a free, 15-minute phone consultation. If you reach out via phone, please make sure to leave a voicemail and I will return your call. I am committed to guiding individuals and couples on your journey towards emotional healing and personal growth.
My approach is a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to foster meaningful transformations. Through blending ACT and IFS, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment. My approach encourages mindfulness and acceptance, helping you to identify your values and take committed actions toward a more fulfilling life. I believe in the power of acceptance as a catalyst for change, guiding you to embrace your inner experiences with compassion. This approach can be particularly beneficial for those struggling with anxiety, chronic pain, or stress. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy in my work with couples. This approach draws from attachment theory and neuroscience to help you deepen intimacy, and build stronger, more fulfilling connections. We’ll work together to identify patterns in your relationship, enhance communication, and strengthen your bond.
My goal is to help you and your partner cultivate a secure attachment, enabling you to navigate challenges collaboratively. Please note, couples counseling is only offered in-person at my Redmond office. My goal is to create a safe space for you to explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences without judgment. I believe in the inherent capacity for growth within you and am dedicated to supporting you on your journey towards self-discovery and transformation. If you’re ready to take the next step in your personal or relational journey, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can work towards a life that aligns with your values and fosters deep emotional connections.
As a Professional Counselor Associate, meaning I am working towards full licensure in Oregon, I am supervised by Julie Branaugh, MA, LPC and and Meagan Sheehy, MA, LPC, LMFT. We can talk more about this in a consultation call or in a first session. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.

Being a mom is one of the hardest things you have ever had to do. You hardly recognize yourself from before having your baby. You would not trade this now that you have it, but sometimes you wish you could just take a break! Your overstimulated, overwhlemed, on edge, having weird intrusive thoughts and your relationship has shifted in a way you are not sure you like. That is all
