Dr. Casey J. Simon

I’m Dr. Casey Simon, a depth-oriented psychotherapist licensed to provide telehealth throughout Oregon. While my office is located in Westlake Village, California, I work with clients across Oregon through secure video sessions. I provide psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and specialize in conditions that are often misunderstood or misdiagnosed, including borderline personality disorder and other personality disorders, trauma and dissociation, and complex presentations that have not responded to previous treatment. I also offer ADHD and psychological testing.

My approach is psychoanalytic. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, we work to understand the deeper patterns that shape emotional suffering, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we explore not only what hurts, but why it repeats and how lasting change becomes possible. With specialized training in Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) and Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), my goal is structural personality change rather than temporary symptom relief.

I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) from Pacifica Graduate Institute and am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in both California and Oregon.
