About Angela
At the core of my belief is the understanding that we, as humans, inherently strive for our best selves. Each of us harbors a deep-seated desire to flourish, and our unique internal strengths bolster our natural resilience, guiding us through life's inevitable challenges. Sometimes, however, the journey can present obstacles that are difficult to overcome alone. It's completely normal to seek guidance in learning new skills and to have support in nurturing your strengths.
I am dedicated to assisting children, teens, parents, and families as they explore their needs and discover effective strategies for enhancing their overall well-being. Together, we will work step by step to cultivate strength and resilience.
With over 18 years of experience in counseling children, adolescents, and families, I employ a humanistic, strength-based, and client-centered approach. My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Mindfulness, Sources of Strength, and Perinatal Mental Health. Throughout my career, I have empowered young individuals to gain insights and develop skills to navigate their emotional and behavioral challenges, while also guiding families to mend connections and foster growth.
I have a particular passion for supporting new mothers and families during the postpartum period. This time, while often joyful, can also be filled with challenges as parents navigate the emotional and physical changes that come with welcoming a new life. I offer compassionate guidance to help families adjust to their new roles, providing strategies to promote mental well-being and strengthen family bonds.

Chronic pain is real and physical. Being sent to a therapist for it can feel like an accusation. That is not what I am doing. I work on what the pain takes from your sleep, your mood, and your days, so daily life feels more manageable. I live with fibromyalgia. That doesn’t make me an expert…
