Treatment goals may be supported using somatic processing, EMDR, CBT, internal family systems, and interpersonal process. We all experience times in our life when additional support could be helpful. Unfortunately, during these times seeking support can feel overwhelming and vulnerable. I realize it can take a great deal of courage and trust to reach out. As a therapist, I have deep respect for the people that I work with and it’s important to me that I understand my clients experiences and work collaboratively with them to support their goals. My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed, and rooted within a multicultural/feminist framework that attends to context, reinforces resilience, and focuses on empowerment.
