About

Alexander Counseling Center is a trauma-informed group practice serving clients throughout Oregon through both in-person and telehealth services. Our team includes therapists with diverse specialties, treatment approaches, and insurance participation, allowing us to thoughtfully match each client with the therapist who best fits their needs, preferences, and goals.

We provide counseling for PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, ADHD, autism, relationship concerns, addiction and co-occurring disorders, and other emotional or life challenges. Our therapists use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches designed to calm the nervous system, build insight, and support meaningful, lasting change.

Because every client is different, our team offers a variety of treatment modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, EMDR, and other trauma-informed interventions, along with emerging services such as neurofeedback. We believe therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and paced in a way that respects each person’s nervous system and readiness for change.

Many clients come to Alexander Counseling Center feeling stuck in survival mode, overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, disconnected from themselves or others, or exhausted from carrying unresolved experiences for too long. Our work focuses on helping clients reduce reactivity, process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and regain a greater sense of stability, confidence, and direction in daily life.

We understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming. From the first phone call or email, our goal is to make the process approachable, supportive, and easy to navigate. Our team works closely with each client to help them find the right therapist and move forward at a pace that feels manageable and empowering.
