I work with people who have gotten very good at adapting.
Maybe you live between cultures, languages, countries, identities, family expectations, professional roles, or different versions of yourself. You may have learned to code-switch, accommodate, keep the peace, or become whatever was needed. That flexibility may have helped you survive and belong. It may also leave you wondering: Who am I when I'm not adapting?
Or maybe you've spent much of your life taking care of everyone else. You may have learned that being needed is a virtue, rest has to be earned, or putting yourself first is selfish. You might be exhausted, but you're not ready to stop caring.
You know how to cope, set boundaries, and keep going—but you're beginning to wonder whether understanding why something happens is enough. Maybe you're ready to go deeper.
I don't believe therapy is about feeling good all the time. Anger, grief, fear, joy, longing, and uncertainty all have something to tell us. Rather than rushing to eliminate difficult emotions, we can become curious about what they reveal about your needs, values, boundaries, and desires.
My work is liberation-focused and decolonial. We look beyond the idea that every painful experience is an individual problem. Family, culture, migration, race, gender, relationships, work, and the systems around you all shape how you move through the world. Together, we can understand what shaped you deeply enough to choose what you want to carry forward—and what you don't.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong or why. Sometimes what needs attention shows up through sensations, images, movement, memories, metaphors, or other forms of knowing. You do need a willingness to get curious, tolerate uncertainty, and look honestly at your own patterns with compassion and accountability.
If you've already learned how to cope and you're ready to explore what lies underneath, we may be a good fit.
This work isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming more fully your own—more able to feel, choose, connect, and live from what actually matters to you.
Actually about me:
I'm a brown, queer, neurodivergent, multiracial & multicultural human.
I live in the both/and: deep clinical roots and sacred remembering.
I work at the intersections of ancestral grief and embodied wisdom, of burnout and resilience, trauma and resistance, oppressive systems and liberation.
I’m not a blank slate. I’m a co-journeyer. A practitioner of whole-person, justice-rooted care.
I’m an imperfect human. If you’re looking for polished, western professionalism—that is not me.
I show my emotions. I share my thoughts.
I believe therapy isn’t just about coping. It is also about liberation.
I'm an OBLPCT-approved supervisor with 15 years of clinical experience across community mental health, outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, crisis response, and private practice. I've worked with clinicians serving clients with complex, multilayered experiences, including trauma, severe and persistent mental illness, neurodivergence, chronic illness, grief, and major life transitions.
I care about the therapist you're becoming—not just whether you can check the boxes.
My supervision is decolonial, liberatory, relational, warm, and direct. We look at the therapy seeker and the clinician: the relationship between you and your clients, self-of-the-therapist, somatic countertransference, culture and systems, and what your body and intuition may notice before you have words for it.
I want supervision to be a place where you can bring the things you're not sure you're “supposed” to say: the client you're struggling with, the session that didn't go well, the feeling you can't explain, or the clinical decision you're afraid to get wrong.
I especially enjoy working with clinicians who are reclaiming their relational style and intuition, integrating anti-oppressive and decolonial frameworks, serving marginalized or complex populations, navigating burnout or client loss, or unlearning the norms graduate school taught them.
And then there's the 80% they never taught us: running a practice, insurance, documentation, boundaries, real world ethics, clinical language, and learning how to remain human while doing work that asks so much of you.
Supervision with me isn't about becoming a “perfect” clinician. It's about becoming a more grounded, discerning, relational, and fully human one.
