Deborah Kennedy, LPC
Accepting new clientsAbout Deborah
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Oregon Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor with more than 15 years of clinical experience. I view supervision as an opportunity to support, encourage, and challenge emerging clinicians as they develop their professional identity and clinical confidence.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in the belief that supervision should be more than simply tracking hours toward licensure. It should be a space where associates feel comfortable asking questions, exploring difficult cases, building new skills, and growing into the clinician they want to become.
As a former instructor at George Fox University, I enjoy helping clinicians strengthen their diagnostic reasoning, case conceptualization, treatment planning, and documentation skills. I also provide guidance in ethics, professional development, and navigating the real-world challenges that come with clinical practice.
Whether you are just beginning your associate journey or looking to deepen your confidence in your clinical work, my goal is to provide a supportive and engaging supervision experience that helps you prepare for independent licensure and a rewarding career in the counseling profession.
