Shirah Canaga, LPC

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Shirah Canaga, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon. I created Vine & Victory Counseling from a deep belief that we can gently let go of patterns that no longer serve us and begin growing new, healthier ways of living. Creating new vines or neural pathways that benefit clients. My hope is that through our work together, you experience both meaningful growth and the victory of true healing.

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, client-centered, and tailored to you.

I work with individuals and couples, with a special passion for supporting maternal and postpartum mental health. As an EMDR-certified therapist and EMDR Consultant In Training, I help clients process past experiences, better understand themselves, and move toward lasting change. In addition help athletes work on athletic performance and reducing trauma for first responders by using certain EMDR protocols. I teach Heart Rate Variability and polyvagal to help reach clients victory. I provide supervision and EMDR consultation services to providers. 

I integrate a variety of approaches—including EMDR, parts work (IFS), and polyvagal theory. I help support clients in making meaningful choices in their life. Together, we can navigate the challenges of life and celebrate your victories.
