About Michael

I also use EMDR when indicated. I am a General Adult Psychiatrist and have been practicing and teaching psychotherapy for more than 40 years. My psychiatric training started at the Oregon State Hospital in 1978. After two years I transferred to the University of Pittsburgh where I completed my psychiatric training and had my first psychiatric practice. My primary focus is on each patient's relationship with him or herself. I see psychotherapy and all psychiatric treatment as a collaborative process in which I work with the patient to help them achieve their goals.
