My name is Meghan. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and EMDR therapist providing trauma-informed therapy for adults in Oregon. My work focuses on helping individuals heal from trauma and navigate the complex relationship between mental health and substance use.
Many of the people I work with feel stuck in trauma—replaying the past, reacting in ways they don’t fully understand, or feeling hijacked by anxiety, shutdown, anger, or emotional overwhelm. You might notice yourself turning to substances, overworking, numbing out, or other coping strategies just to get through the day—even if they no longer feel helpful.
Working with me, we focus on understanding why these patterns exist, not judging or forcing change. Using EMDR and trauma-informed talk therapy, I help clients process unresolved experiences, reduce intense nervous system responses, and build safer, more sustainable ways to cope—without taking away what’s helped you survive.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and paced to your nervous system. The goal isn’t to relive trauma, but to help your body and mind feel more regulated, present, and in control so you can move forward with greater clarity and calm.
My practice is fully virtual, and I work with adults ages 18 and older living in Oregon.
