About Malama

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in English Literature from Portland State University. I received my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College, with an additional certificate from their Eating Disorders track. I have worked as a mental health therapist over 10 years, working with a wide variety of people including those with severe and persistent mental health challenges. My clinical experience includes day treatment, residential, outpatient and school settings. Malama in Hawaiian means Caring for so my motto is "Caring for People."
