Jessica Couey
Accepting new clientsAbout Jessica
Jessica Couey, LPC works with teens, adults, and couples throughout Oregon by secure video. Clients come to her feeling anxious, stretched thin, or disconnected, in their relationships or in themselves. Her work starts with noticing what is happening beneath the surface, settling the nervous system, and moving from there toward clarity.
Her style is warm and collaborative, and she puts real weight on the relationship itself: therapy works when you feel safe with the person across the screen. She is trauma informed and integrative, drawing on Internal Family Systems, emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral and cognitive processing therapy, somatic practices, and narrative work as each situation calls for it.
Jessica sees a lot of grief, life transitions, parenting stress, and pregnancy and postpartum struggles, alongside anxiety, depression, and trauma. Couples come to her for communication that has gone brittle and for rebuilding trust. In her words: you don't need perfect words or a perfectly clear plan before reaching out.
