Dr. Joslyn C Armstrong
Accepting new clientsAbout Dr.
I believe therapy works best when we explore the relational systems that shape us—our partnerships, families, communities, and inner worlds. As an Associate licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals and couples using a systemic and relational approach, grounded in family therapy and informed by culturally sensitive practice. With couples, I help navigate communication breakdowns, conflict, blended family dynamics, infidelity, and the full spectrum from premarital counseling through separation and divorce. With individuals, I address anxiety, depression, substance use, identity questions, work stress, and family-of-origin patterns. I'm particularly committed to working with men of color, and Black women and men, bringing intentionality to racial identity, masculinity, fatherhood, and the intersecting challenges my clients face. I offer primarily telehealth and in a separate group practice I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions, accept Moda Health, Kaiser Permanente, and Regence insurance. I'm currently accepting new clients across all ages (16+). I'm here to help you move toward wellness and meaningful change!
