About

Facing Giants is a resilience-centered community and provider collaboration ecosystem in Oregon, created to reduce isolation, expand access to support, and make meaningful in-person connection easier for individuals, families, providers, educators, facilitators, and community partners.

Facing Giants was intentionally designed as a trauma-responsive, developmentally appropriate, child-focused environment where providers can do meaningful work in spaces that support regulation, creativity, exploration, connection, and relationship-building. Our Play Room, Sensory Room, Therapy Room, and Group Room create opportunities for providers to meet with children, families, individuals, groups, and community members in environments that feel warm, thoughtful, and deeply human.

For providers, Facing Giants offers several ways to collaborate:
- Professional sublets for approved providers seeking consistent weekly access to intentionally designed in-person spaces.
- Group Room rentals for workshops, trainings, classes, support groups, educational events, professional development, creative programming, and community gatherings.
- Program partnerships for providers and facilitators who want to create groups, workshops, classes, or community offerings with support around promotion, registration, payment processing, and community outreach.
- Opportunities for cross-disciplinary connection, referral relationships, and collaborative programming with other providers and community leaders.

Facing Giants is especially well suited for providers who value trauma-responsive practice, prevention, child development, family-centered work, social-emotional growth, resilience-building, disability-related support, education, parent-child connection, and community-based programming. The environment itself is part of the experience. Each space is designed to support meaningful engagement rather than functioning as a generic office rental.

Individuals and families may also access Facing Giants through private Play Room and Sensory Room reservations, educational opportunities, workshops, community groups, resources, and approved provider-led programming. These offerings are designed to create earlier access to connection, practical tools, support, belonging, and resilience-building before challenges become crises.

Facing Giants exists alongside therapy, counseling, healthcare, education, advocacy, disability services, churches, and community organizations. We do not replace those services. We complement them by creating additional opportunities for connection, education, prevention, collaboration, and community support.

Providers, facilitators, educators, and community organizations interested in using the space, hosting groups, building referral relationships, or exploring program partnerships are invited to reach out to discuss fit, availability, and alignment with the Facing Giants model.
