Oregon Counselors Directory was created by Eric Richers, a licensed therapist in Eugene, Oregon. This isn't Psychology Today — it's a tool built with the direct feedback of local therapists who wanted a better way to connect with clients.
For Clients — Find Your Perfect Therapist
Step 1: Search & Filter
Start by searching for a therapist by name, specialty (anxiety, PTSD, depression), location, or insurance. Use Advanced Filters to narrow by:
- OHP / Medicaid acceptance
- Telehealth availability
- Gender identity
- Languages spoken
- Sliding Scale fee options
- Currently Accepting Patients
Step 2: Review Profiles
Browse detailed provider profiles showing credentials, specialties, treatment approaches, bio, accepted insurance, pricing, and availability status. Verified providers carry a Verified badge for trust.
Step 3: Connect Directly
Contact the provider directly via their phone number, website, or booking link. Or use the Find Your Match tool to answer a few questions and get personalized recommendations sent to qualified providers.

Your profile may already exist in the directory. Search for your name, then claim it by registering with your license number. We verify your credentials with the state licensing board, adding a trusted Verified badge. Free to claim — license verified in 24 hours.
