About This Practice
Whether you're struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, therapy can be a place for meaningful change.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who want to heal from painful relational experiences and build richer, more connected lives. I specialize in attachment repair and complex PTSD, helping clients understand and transform the patterns that developed through difficult relationships and life experiences. Attachment wounds can present as difficulty trusting others, fear of abandonment or rejection, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, uncertainty about who you are, or repeating painful relationship patterns. Much of my work is with highly sensitive people and clients navigating anxiety, difficulties with emotion regulation, codependency, and borderline personality disorder. I also have experience supporting autistic and ADHD clients, people living with chronic pain or illness, and polyamorous clients. My practice is LGBTQIA+-affirming.
My style is collaborative, affirming, warm, genuine, sensitive, and attuned to where you are at. I aim for a balance of professionalism and being human together. Rather than only managing symptoms, I help clients understand and transform the emotional and relational patterns that keep them stuck, so they can experience deeper, more lasting change.
Ultimately, I believe therapy is about love: how to feel it, keep it, grow it, show it, heal it, and embody it. Along with insight, practical skills, and education about the mind and nervous system, I aim to help clients create lasting change—not just symptom relief. My goal is to help you make changes that continue long after therapy ends.
Sessions with me can look a variety of ways depending on client needs and preferences. In individual therapy, I often go beyond traditional talk therapy by incorporating mindfulness, somatic awareness, guided imagery, and experiential techniques. These approaches help clients connect more deeply with emotions, heal the impact of painful memories, and access their own capacity for growth and transformation. Together, we work with patterns held not only through thoughts and stories, but also through the body, nervous system, and deeper layers of experience. No prior experience with mindfulness or experiential work is necessary; we will tailor the approach to your comfort and needs. In couples, family, and relationship therapy; I support clients to slow down, tune into each other, identify their cycles of disconnection, and ultimately repair ruptures and build a more secure, connected relationship.
I’m comprehensively trained in Hakomi somatic mindfulness therapy, and primary attachment therapy. I also have training in emotionally focused couples therapy and integrative attachment therapy.
You may find me a good fit if you...
- want to understand and heal patterns at their root
- value a relational, attachment-focused approach
- are looking for a deeper approach
- are highly sensitive or neurodivergent
Finding the right fit is important, so I offer prospective clients a free consultation (up to 45 minutes in length). In these meetings, we can discuss what you’re looking for and how I might be able to help you, and you can get a chance to feel if I am the right person for you.
I offer sessions online in Oregon, and in-person in SW Portland. My normal office hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM, and I offer weekend and evening sessions by exception.
