I began my career behind the camera, where every frame was a confession and every cut a defense. That insight pulled me from film sets into the human mind. I earned an M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Cal Lutheran University, then a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, specializing in Depth Psychology. In practice, I work psychoanalytically: slowing the film, studying the frame, listening for the lines never spoken. Transference isn’t jargon—it’s the projector casting the past onto the present.
