I believe that the ability to grow is one that all humans naturally possess but that we need help to bravely enact the changes we desire. Our experience of life is shaped by the way we process the world. Sometimes we were heard and sometimes we felt invisible. Sometimes we knew what to do; often we did not or we felt alone. Counseling can help to restructure thinking patterns and shift responses as clients find awareness and compassion for themselves and others.
